How To Make Crab Cake

A:

  • Take a Frying Pan and saut� in fresh butter:
  • Chopped onions
  • Chopped garlic
  • Diced red peppers
  • Finely sliced green onions
  • Saut� the above only for 30 seconds and set aside

  • Chop Jonah, Snow crab or fresh lump Crabmeat coarsely. If it was previously frozen, try to squeeze out excessive water but not too dry, because then it becomes like straw.
  • C)In a bowl mix it together with moderate amounts of Mayonnaise, Dijon mustard ground or cracked red pepper or finely diced jalapeno peppers, chopped parsley, chopped cilantro and chopped dill. Also add a fresh egg .

Combine A, B and C and shape them into small cakes.
Dip into breadcrumbs on both sides and fry in Olive oil or regular oil. Small cakes need about 8 minutes.
Keep them warm in a 300 F oven until you finish the rest.

It�s important that your crab mix is not too liquid, give yourself time to refrigerate
the cakes after you shape them so they will hold better together.
